5th Annual
Trucker's Light Parade
November 29th, 2008
6:00 p.m.
Highway1 on Saturday night was lined with people to welcome Santa
into town, accompanied by a parade of spectacularly lit trucks
in the fifth Annual Gualala Trucker's Light Parade.
Judging was held prior to the parade at the staging site at Bedrock,
Inc. located at the north end of Gualala.
The winners were:
Big rigs division
1st place, Leighton Nelsen, "The Longest Christmas Ever"
2nd place - John and Diana Luther, "Santa's Tow Land"
3rd place - South Coast Volunteer Fire Department, "Blue Christmas"
Trucks w/ trailers division
1st place - Alice Nelsen, "Christmas Tree Train"
2nd place - Waterman Racing, "Rocket Assist Sleigh"
3rd place - Zeni Ranch, "Oh Christmas Tree"
