INDEPENDENCE DAY! July 2nd, 2006
The First Annual Gualala Fireworks
Display took place at 9:15 PM on Sunday July 2nd
2006. The display was seen from most of downtown Gualala and
surrounding area. It was a spectacular display that was
coordinated with music on our local KTDE FM radio station. In addition to the Fireworks display Gualala was
decorated with American Flags and Patriotic displays. A lot of
merchants participated in the Patriotic Display Contest
sponsored by the Festivals Committee. The judges were Alice From July 2nd to the 4th,
Benjamin Franklin came to life welcoming all to the festivities,
handing out flags and famous quotes. He was spotted signing
his best
